Rmhermen 16:35 28 Jul 2003 (UTC) Joliet was the site where "Blues Brothers" was filmed, long before the prison closed. Stateville is the prison where scenes from "Natural Born Killers" were filmed. Joliet and Stateville look somewhat alike in certain scenes and photos because both are built of native Illinois limestone.
