Islamabad Capital Territory Police (Urdu: اسلام آباد دارلحکومت علاقہ پولیس), also known as Islamabad Police, [1] is a police force formed in 1981 to police Islamabad Capital Territory, Pakistan under administrative control of the Chief Commissioner, Islamabad Capital Territory Administration.
The National Police Academy (NPA) (Urdu: قومی پولیس درسگاہ پاکستان) is the National Institute for training of the Police Service of Pakistan officers who have been selected through the Central Superior Services examination. The trained officers on passing out hold the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police.
