Ichigo Kurosaki (黒崎 一護, Kurosaki Ichigo) is a fictional character in the Bleach manga series and its adaptations created by author Tite Kubo.He is the main protagonist of the series, who receives Soul Reaper powers after meeting Rukia Kuchiki, a Soul Reaper assigned to patrol around the fictional city of Karakura Town.

Ichigo Kurosaki is a fifteen-year-old high school student with orange hair, brown eyes, and the ability to see spirits. As he tries to protect the spirit of a little girl from a hollow, he witnesses a clash between the malevolent spirit and a female Soul Reaper. Later, Ichigo is met by the same woman again in his room.
The episodes' plot centers on Ichigo Kurosaki's and his friends' battle against the Espada, the strongest members of former Soul Reaper captain Sōsuke Aizen's army, to save Orihime Inoue. The season aired from December 2007 to April 2008.
Ichigo Kurosaki senses his appearance and he rushes to the fifth tower where Ulquiorra and Orihime are located. It then goes back to the battle where the captains talk amongst themselves, when suddenly first division captain Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto unleashes his shikai to trap Aizen, Tōsen and Gin.
