Wonder Woman 1984 (also known as WW84) [1] is a 2020 American superhero film based on the DC character Wonder Woman.Produced by Warner Bros. Pictures, DC Films, Atlas Entertainment, and The Stone Quarry, and distributed by Warner Bros., it is a standalone sequel to the 2017 film Wonder Woman and the ninth film in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU).
The superhero movie is set for release in theaters and on HBO Max on December 25. The cast includes Gal Gadot and Chris Prine, plus some new faces.

She is the younger sister of Lois Lane, and one of several characters who have assumed the Superwoman identity. She was played by Maureen Teefy in the 1984 film Supergirl and Peyton List in the series Smallville. Jenna Dewan played two different versions in the Arrowverse series Supergirl (2015–16) and Superman & Lois (2022–23).
