The 1961 Carroll Pioneers football team was an American football team that represented Carroll College (now known as Carroll University) of Waukesha, Wisconsin, as a member of the College Conference of Illinois (CCI) during the 1961 college football season.
Waukesha-based Carroll University is the state's oldest four-year post-secondary institution as it was founded on January 31, 1846, two years before Wisconsin achieved statehood. [ 2 ] [ 3 ] Beloit College , located in the city of Beloit , was established two days later on February 2.

Victory Memorial Chapel was built from 1921 to 1926, modeled by Van Alyea on the chapel at West Point, and clad in lannonstone. [9] In 1927 the school added the two-story Hazelwood Hall designed by Van Alyea, housing barracks and classrooms, [10] and it was expanded with Scott Johnston Hall in 1930, with a corner turret. [11]
