Meg 2: The Trench was released on digital download on August 25, 2023, on the streaming service Max on September 29, and was released on Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray and DVD on October 24, 2023 by Warner Bros. Home Entertainment.
A film adaptation titled Meg 2: The Trench began filming at Warner Bros. Studios, Leavesden in February 2022. The film is a sequel to the 2018 film, The Meg. [2] British director Ben Wheatley was announced to direct in October 2020, [3] with Statham stating in April 2021 that filming would begin in 2022. [4] The film released on August 4, 2023. [5]

The screensaver depicts a man, Johnny Castaway, stranded on a very small island with a single palm tree. It follows a story which is slowly revealed through time.
