The Africa Netball Cup, formerly known as the African Netball Championships, is an international netball competition held every two years organised by Africa Netball. The first edition of the tournament was held in 2010. [1] In 2023, the men's edition was introduced. [2]
The 2023 Men's African Netball Championships was the inaugural edition of the Men's Netball Africa Cup organised by Netball Africa. It was held at the University of Botswana Indoor Facility in Gaborone, Botswana. [1] [2] [3]
In 2021, Netball South Africa held the first International Male Netball Tournament, a tri-nations tournament, which featured Uganda, and Kenya. South Africa won the tournament. [1] In 2023, they won the inaugural Men's African Netball Championship. [2] They defeated Zimbabwe 45-40 in the final to lift their maiden continental title. [3]
The 2019 Africa Netball Cup was held in Cape Town from 18-23 October 2019. [1] The tournament featured seven nations including hosts South Africa, defending champions Uganda along with Kenya, Malawi, Zambia, Lesotho and Zimbabwe in 2 pool categories.

Africa Netball, previously known as the Confederation of African Netball Associations, is the regional body within the World Netball that governs netball in Africa. There are currently fifteen full members within the African region.
The Africa Netball World Cup Qualifiers were held in Pretoria, South Africa, between 21 August and 27 August 2022, with nine teams taking part. [1] South Africa, while still participating in the tournament, had already qualified for the World Cup due to being the hosts, leaving eight teams to compete for two qualifying places.
