TV4 is a Polish free-to-air television channel originally owned by Polskie Media. It was founded through the merger of Nasza TV/Our TV and Polsat 2 and started broadcasting on 1 April 2000. In August 2013, Polskie Media was acquired by Telewizja Polsat, and since 2014, Polsat became a direct broadcaster of TV4.

TV4 AB (formerly Nordisk Television AB; previously traded as TV4-gruppen) is a Swedish media company owned by Telia Company through TV4 Media (formerly known as Bonnier Broadcasting). The company owns the largest commercial television channel in Sweden , TV4 .
TV4 was founded by Starman as a commercial-free channel in 2008. The two competing channels, Kanal 2 and TV3, saw it as a marketing strategy for Starman and, as consequence of that and its limited coverage, the potential audience was very low. [2] It was renamed into TV4 and changed its owner after Kalev Media's bankruptcy.

Nyheterna was launched on 15 September 1990, [1] the same day that TV4 launched, broadcasting two editions every day at 7 and 10pm.. In 1992, the TV4 Group started broadcast a breakfast television programme, initially called Gomorron ("Good Morning"), but soon renamed Nyhetsmorgon ("News Morning"), with news from Nyheterna every half-hour.
