The 2024 SGP2 series was the 48th edition of the FIM Individual Under-21 World Championship.It was once again be staged as the SGP2 class of the FIM Speedway Grand Prix series after rights holders Discovery Sports Events took over promotional rights of the competition in 2022.

The Speedway World Pairs Championship was an annual motorcycle speedway event held annually in different countries. [ 1 ] [ 2 ] The first competition was held in 1968, and the final competition was held in 1993.
The 2023 FIM Speedway World Cup (SWC) was the 18th Speedway World Cup, an international motorcycle speedway world championship tournament organised by the FIM. The 2023 edition was the first since 2017 and took place between 25 July and 29 July 2023 and involved nine national teams.
The 2024 Speedway Grand Prix season was the 30th season of the Speedway Grand Prix era, and decided the 79th FIM Speedway World Championship. [1] It was the third series promoted by Discovery Sports Events.
The Speedway Grand Prix series and the Speedway World Cup were originally promoted by Benfield Sports International, which later was renamed to BSI Speedway. On 11 April 2007 it was announced that BSI Speedway had been acquired by IMG and the existing team took up roles within IMG Motorsport. IMG Motorsport managed the series until 2021.
