Format the cells as custom number format 00000000000. will appear as 01234567891 in cell and. 1234567891 in formula bar. I'm using Excel 2010 on a PC, Windows 7 64-bit. Whenever I start Excel the formula bar is missing--I have to go to "View" and check the box to make it appear. This ALWAYS happens--the formula bar never appears as a default.

RE: leading zeros are not showing in the formula bar but do show in ce. I've dealt with that before, format the cells as text, that will prevent any. leading zeroes from disappearing. You will now have a green triangle in the. upper left hand corner. That just means you have numbers in a cell formatted.
