  2. Dayquil (cold medicine) - BabyandBump

    babyandbump.momtastic.com/threads/dayquil-cold-medicine.1286015

I came down with a nasty cold yesterday, so I called the on-call pediatrician and asked if dayquil was fine for breastfeeding. He told me it was. I did some research on the individual ingredients in the medicine and they were all relatively safe. I decided to take it at night time after he had...

  3. DayQuil? - BabyandBump

    1. Jul 28, 2013. #6. You already took it and they arent going to pump your stomach for taking one dose of dayquil. I don't think activated charcoal would work at this point either since its most likely too late and the drugs are in your system already. You might want to let your doctor know that you took it but I don't think you need to rush to ...

I got positives with clearblue, frer, and wondfo. But they went negative and my blood hcg was a low number on quantitative test and then negative on qualitative. I thought I caught the first eggy but then miscarried. I’m 11 months postpartum, breastfeeding (but night weaning), and still havent had my first postpartum period yet.

Jan 28, 2013. #1. This is a totally common question. But I couldn't find anything that was specifically about small breasts. And I know this is a vain topic, but I'm just curious about how pregnancy will change my body. To preface: My bra size is 32A (I don't even fill out an A-cup bra as much as I'd like) and have never been pregnant.

  7. Nipple too big for baby's mouth? - BabyandBump

    babyandbump.momtastic.com/threads/nipple-too-big-for-babys-mouth.939981

    227. Reaction score. 0. Apr 3, 2012. #1. My baby is 12 days old today. I *so* wanted to BF exclusively, but her mouth is too small (or my nipple too big) and she can't latch on. I've got lots of milk and she's a pro at sucking, but she can't open her mouth big enough. I've been working with a IBCLC, but the only solution so far is to pump and ...

  9. Confused about medela bottles and teats - BabyandBump

    babyandbump.momtastic.com/threads/confused-about-medela-bottles-and-teats.59404

I just came from the October Baby Show in London (which was great by the way!) and spoke to a Medela rep about the bottle teats. Medela do make teats for their bottles but don't promote them. At least not in the UK. Sounds strange, I know. Apparently, that's because Medela are very pro-breastfeeding.

Recommended level of folic acid. The Department of Health recommends women planning a baby should take a supplement containing 400mcg of folic acid from the start of trying to conceive until the 12th week of pregnancy. This is the exact amount of folic acid contained in Pregnacare®, but folic acid is also important after the first twelve weeks.

Reaction score. 0. Aug 13, 2012. #6. I wouldn't go to the ER for mastitis unless it really was an emergency. I had mastitis (chills, aches, temperature of 102) and called the doctor, explained to them I'd like to be seen ASAP since I had an infection, they got me in, got me on antibiotics, and it cleared up within 24 hours.
