Bristol is an unincorporated community in southern Pike Township, Perry County, Ohio, United States. [1] It lies along State Route 93 at its intersection with Marietta Road and Township Road 223. It is located 4 miles (6 kilometers) south of New Lexington , the county seat of Perry County.
Located in the northern part of the county, it borders the following townships: Meigs Township, Muskingum County - north; Brookfield Township, Noble County - northeast corner; Manchester Township - east; Center Township - southeast corner; Meigsville Township - south; Morgan Township - southwest; Bloom Township - west
Bristol was platted in 1831, [2] and named for its location within Bristol Township. [3] A post office called Bristol was established in 1834, and remained in operation until 1915. [ 4 ]
