Worlds of Fun amusement park has announced the updated grand opening date for their newest ride, the Zambezi Zinger, which promises a new twist on an old favorite.
Timber Wolf is one of three wooden roller coasters at Worlds of Fun and Worlds of Fun's first wooden roller coaster. The coaster's highest point is 100 feet (30 m) and its largest drop is 95 feet (29 m), at which point it reaches speeds of 45 miles per hour (72 km/h) and incurs g-forces of 2.8.
When Worlds of Fun first opened to the public in 1973, the original Zambezi Zinger was one of three roller coasters featured at the park. [1] It became one of the most popular rides among guests and operated until 1997, when it was removed and relocated to Parque del Café in Colombia, reopening as Montaña Rusa in 1999.

On October 29, 2003, Worlds of Fun announced that Orient Express would be removed. That same day, the park announced that a new spinning roller coaster named Spinning Dragons would be added to the park. [3] The ride was set to open on April 3, 2004, but the opening was delayed. Spinning Dragons officially opened two weeks later on April 17, 2004.

Patriot is an inverted roller coaster located at Worlds of Fun in Kansas City, Missouri. Manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard , the inverted coaster opened to the public on April 8, 2006. It features four inversions, a height of 149 feet (45 m), and a track length of 3,081 feet (939 m).
