The Lingenfelter car run an 8.99. There are "fast" cars running manuals, but most of the quick cars run an automatic... As was mentioned the Lingenfelter car went 8.938 at 160 with a faceplated T56. Too much time and or boost is lost in shifts....

If your power levels are close to stock in the 375-425 range, then you'll get good traction on a 20" wheel. If you are above 500whp or so, you'll want to consider smaller diameter wheels and larger sidewall. Whether you are stock or modified, you'll want to consider a higher stall torque converter in the 3600-4000 range.

This all started based on the Lucky 13 article that did a successful swap but left out details on the computer programming and just said "Since the automatic and manual fifth-gen use the same operating system, a simple transmission segment swap would get us back in business—all without having to make a lot of changes to the computer programming".
I'm working on a 1st gen Camaro that's already been converted to a LS/ Tremec platform and need to compare the rear seat dimensions to see if the Gen 5 seat could work out. Somebody feel like taking a tape measure and check the width dimension for the bottom and back portion? Thanks in advance.
