Murphy Oil Soap is an American brand of cleaning product that is manufactured by Colgate-Palmolive. [1] In 1910, Jeremiah Murphy, director of the Phoenix Oil Company, bought the formula for Murphy Oil Soap from a recent immigrant from Germany.
