The Lindau Lighthouse (German: Lindauer Leuchtturm) is a lighthouse in Lindau, on Lake Constance. It is the southernmost lighthouse in Germany, and the only lighthouse in Bavaria. It is 33 metres (108 ft) tall and has a circumference of 24 metres (79 ft) at its base. Notably, it has a clock in its facade.

South Bass Island Light is a lighthouse on the southern end of its eponymous island in Lake Erie. It was listed in the National Register of Historic Places on April 5, 1990 [1] and is thought to be the only lighthouse in the United States owned by a university - Ohio State. [2] [3]

Cleveland West Pierhead Light, sometimes called Cleveland Harbor West Pierhead Light, is a lighthouse in Cleveland, Ohio, United States. It is on the National Register of Historic Places. [1] [2] In 2023, the United States General Services Administration announced that the lighthouse would be sold by auction.
A new lighthouse, the structure which stands today, was completed in 1862. This light served as a navigational aid until 1909, in which year the light tower was removed from atop the dwelling. In the ensuing years it was kept in use by the federal government as a buoy depot, a radio beacon station and a search and rescue boat station. [2]
Today, the island houses several abandoned structures and the ruins of Turtle Island Light, a lighthouse dating back to 1866. According to the Census Bureau , most of the island physically lies in Jerusalem Township in Lucas County, Ohio with the smaller Michigan portion being part of Erie Township in Monroe County, Michigan .
