The Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District, abbreviated NEORSD, is a public utility district serving most of Cuyahoga County and a portion of Summit and Lorain Counties in the U.S. state of Ohio. [1] The district manages three wastewater treatment facilities and all of the interceptor sewers in the service area.
The community (originally Obetz Junction, in honor of settler Charles Obetz) was formed in 1838 as a stagecoach junction, and incorporated in 1928.Nearby Reese Station served as the railroad station for the immediate area, [citation needed] while other adjacent communities such as Groveport, Lockbourne and Canal Winchester were part of the Ohio and Erie Canal canal and lock system.
