Feb 12, 2011. #1. In 2 weeks I'm having all of my teeth removed. I'm only 25, and have been severely neglecting them. The dentist said he could save about 2/3rds of my teeth but it would be way more expensive than I can afford so I decided I wanted them all removed. I won't be put to sleep because I can't afford the cost.
Do not worry about it at all. I just had 17 teeth pulled at the same time and I'm really surprised that it didn't hurt that bad. I've had 1/4 of my lung cut off when I was younger. I always compared pain to that being a 10 and the teeth i would say was 3 at the most.
Hi, my dad had to have all of his teeth removed some years ago. He also had stitches. These took around a week - up to 10 days to dissolve/fall out. In the mean time, he was advised to use alcohol free mouth wash twice a day and take NSAID's, such as Ibuprofen. He was also given a numbing gel to help with the pain.
Location. United States. Sep 26, 2016. #3. I've found that most patients with dental anxiety do better if they get them all out at the same time. Just from an anxiety standpoint there's a lot to be said for knowing that you only have to make it through a single difficult appointment instead of several. I'd recommend that you have your dentist ...
I am having a few teeth out this Wednesday, and talk about being nervous lol its very hard to concentrate on anything else atm! This is a difficult time for me as i am also expecting twins and once all my teeth have been removed i will be on a drip feeding me food, to keep my strength up for the lil ones inside me and also for myself.
I definitely feel better! I had teeth that were falling apart and each time a little bit came off, I'd end up having an anxiety attack. lol Mentally I feel much better and physically too. I didn't even realize how much pain I was in and how generally bad I felt until I got the really problematic teeth taken care of. C.
First of all: it will have severe consequences on your health because what you will be able to eat will not be enough for your body. Secondly, it will really reduce your ability to contact people. On the other hand: you can have the dentures later on.
Find out what your other options are other than removal. Once they are gone, it is forever as you know so it's a decision not to be taken lightly (speaking from experience!) looking back, I wish I had kept some of the teeth I lost. As regards removing two at the same time, some people have had an entire mouthful of teeth removed at once so two ...
In the end he gave me this dental plan: 6th Oct - Extraction of 4 top front teeth. 8th Oct - Return for impressions. 15th (Approx) - Denture fitting. I requested to have the denture as soon as possible, dentist did explain that it will most likely come loose as i have not allowed enough healing time.
LC. lch2297 4 May 2015. I just had all 13 teeth in front, bottom and top pulled, with just the numbing shots. ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION = leave them in until your dentist tells you. I had mine done on the 29th of April three days ago, and went back the next day for him to take them out and look. He put them back in and stated that I should start ...
