For those curious about GOLO, this was my experience. Meds/Supplements. I bought the $79 pack (2 bottles of pills, and the “free” diet plan etc). The instructions say to take 1 pill before every meal, 2 if the meal is high carb. Then i got into the “free” diet kit. They send you a scoop, looks like about half a cup, and instructions on ...
These are really common for pcos/metabolic disorder so if anything you can just take these and avoid this shady predatory company. Lots of people at r/pcos use these and still struggle with weight loss though. There's no miracle supplement. I did a deep dive into the claims and evidence for GOLO Release.
I am only 47 but went through menopause a few years ago. I do IF and it has stopped the weight gain but I can’t lose any. I need to get rid of 20lb and I heard good things about golo and wanted to see if anyone has any feedback. Thanks!! I dunno, but any weight loss regime that requires you purchase their pill is likely a scam.

I have written about my experience over on r/liraglutide. Just did an update with my pcos diagnosis an how it has been going without the medicine. They mean golo.com (no c) I've tried it but it didn't work for me and price too high. Since trying golo I've gone to Lipozene and have lost 50 pounds in 6 months.

Their Release supplement enhances weight loss by helping to regulate blood sugar, control appetite, and reduce food cravings. GOLO re-teaches people the basics of healthy ...
You are not to blame for having PCOS. With that said, I briefly looked into golo and it’s basically just a lot of fiber, minerals, inositol and berberine. But they don’t even specify what the ratios are, so it’s not clear if it’s the forms of inositol in the ratio that has been shown to actually help with PCOS.
The GOLO diet is just a low carb diet. I'm already doing that. The pills contain stuff like magnesium and zinc. Scam.
I tried GOLO and so did husband. They send you a little brochure that is basically useless and two bottles of do-nothing “Release” for about $100… which is $99 more than it’s worth. Both of us lost nothing. Every time I see a commercial for it, I now cannot stop myself from literally saying bull$&@!

This approach can lead to sustainable weight loss and improved overall health. Insulin Management: GOLO places a strong emphasis on managing insulin levels, which can contribute to weight gain ...
