ITT Technical Institute (ITT Tech) was a private for-profit technical institute with its headquarters in Carmel, Indiana and many campuses throughout the United States. Earlier this week, somebody removed an inaccurate entry saying that ITT stood for "Technical Institute of Technology.. but was renamed to ITT because TIT sounds more like a club"(paraphrased). ITT did stand for International Telephone and Telegraph, however ITT Corp, from what I understand, abandoned ITT/ESI (aka; ITT Tech).
