Pyramid City is a ghost town located south of Sutcliffe, Nevada. This location was also sometimes known as Pyramid and should not be confused with Pyramid, Nevada , located north of Sutcliffe. Pyramid City consisted of two mining camps, Upper Pyramid (also knows as Jonesville) [ 2 ] and Lower Pyramid, also known as Pyramid City.
Pyramid is an unincorporated community in Washoe County, Nevada, United States. [1] At one time, it was a station on the Fernley and Lassen Railway located between Bristol and Big Canyon. [ 2 ] There was a post office at this location from March 1904 until November 1959.

The valley and the adjacent Carson Sink represent a small portion of the lake bed. Humboldt Lake is to the valley's northeast. Pyramid Lake is west.
