Upon arrival, Shiki's group discovers the robots' deaths by Ether depletion, as well as video evidence that their infection was an act devised for Shiki to escape with Rebecca and Happy. The group is suddenly approached by Demon King Ziggy, Shiki's adoptive grandfather, who has mysteriously reactivated despite his own death ten years earlier.
A human boy named Shiki is raised from infancy by robots at the Granbell Kingdom, an abandoned theme park on a remote island. Years after the death of Ziggy, Granbell's "Demon King" robot who adopted Shiki, travelers Rebecca Bluegarden and Happy come to record online B-Cube videos of the park.
