The Bikerni Association of Women Motorcyclists (The Bikerni for short [2]) is an all-women motorcycle club in India. It was formed at Pune in 2011 by Urvashi Patole and Firdaus Shaikh, [3] and had over 515 members by 2014. [4] [5] As of 2015, the group has over 2,000 members. [1]

In 2017 Rider Mania Rolling Thunder Motorcycle Club (RTMC) of Bangalore. RTMC along with volunteer clubs from the country, formed the "Southern Squadron" to host the RM17 at Arabian sea coastal area Kundapur. It is about 450 km west from Bangalore. Chithra was taught motorcycle riding by her two brothers and she got her first bike in 2005. She participated in three novice motorcycle races [1] in the 80 cc – 110 cc category. [2] [3] During one race, she was the only girl. She came in third place for that race, but won gold as a rider at the Speed Run.
