It became Civil Aviation School and College on June 19, 2018, following an upgrade to include higher secondary education. The English medium classes commenced in 2017, and the school began offering eleventh-grade classes in 2020.
The English-medium schools teach most of the subjects in English. Bengali is a respected subject taught in these schools. The St Francis Xavier's Green Herald International School also teaches French to its students from Class 5 onwards and International School Dhaka having Spanish and French taught.
For each subject, grades are converted into 'grade points (GP)' and are summed up and divided by the total number of subjects, and thus is called 'grade point average (GPA)'. The highest achievable GPA is 5.0. There is also a 'letter grade (LG)' that indicates a range of GPA for total result, or a single GP for a single subject.

Later in 1967, Bengali medium was introduced along with English medium. After the Bangladesh Liberation War in 1971, The Bangladesh Air Force has been running this educational institution.
