Place Vendôme Mall (Arabic: بلاس فاندوم مول) is a shopping mall on the Lusail, Qatar. [3] It is a luxury mall built at a cost of $1.3bn, that was opened in 2022. [ 4 ] It was built with inspiration from French architecture and includes many shops, restaurants and cafes.
On 26 November 2022, during the 2022 FIFA World Cup, a large fire broke out in a building under construction near Qetaifan Island North about 3.5 km away from Lusail Stadium where multiple World Cup games were scheduled to occur. The Civil Defense controlled the fires in three warehouses and no injuries or casualties were sustained.

Lusail Stadium [3] (Arabic: استاد لوسيل, [4] ALA-LC: Istād Lūsayl) is a football stadium in Lusail, Qatar.Owned by the Qatar Football Association, [5] it is the largest stadium in Qatar and the Middle East by capacity; one of eight stadiums built for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, it hosted the 2022 FIFA World Cup final game between Argentina and France on 18 December 2022.
