The Nintendo Switch – OLED Model features a larger OLED display, a metal body and a redesigned kickstand. On July 6, 2021, Nintendo officially announced a new model called the Nintendo Switch – OLED Model. The OLED model features a 7-inch (180 mm) 720p OLED display, and when docked, output to 1080p resolution similar to the original model.

On 26 May 2021, a release date of 19 November 2021 was announced along with a reveal of the games box art. [10] During the reveal of the Nintendo Switch OLED model on 6 July 2021, footage displaying improved visuals for the games was shown. [11]
The latest Switch model features a 7-inch OLED display, enhanced sound and increased storage. Unfortunately, though, securing one won't be easy.
The Switch OLED is a minor upgrade to the existing Switch hardware, not a new system. It has a bigger 7-inch screen (the original screen is 6.2-inches) that uses OLED instead of LCD technology.
