Morrison County is a county in the U.S. state of Minnesota. As of the 2020 census, the population was 34,010. [1] Its county seat is Little Falls. [2] Camp Ripley Military Reservation occupies a significant area in north-central Morrison County.
The population density was 21.5 people per square mile (8.3/km 2). There were 201 housing units at an average density of 7.4/sq mi (2.9/km 2). The racial makeup of the township was 99.14% White, 0.17% African American, 0.17% Native American, 0.17% Asian, and 0.34% from two or more races. According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 39.7 square miles (103 km 2), of which 38.7 square miles (100 km 2) is land and 1.0 square mile (2.6 km 2) (2.47%) is water. Minnesota State Highway 238 serves as a main route in the township.
