Hello everyone, I've been having some problems downloading Game Pass games recently. When I try to install games, it gets stuck downloading at 0b/s. A few other people in my house have been having this issue over the last few days, but it just started earlier today for me.
If you can confirm that your birthdate is an adult, kindly repair the Xbox App by following the steps below: Settings > Apps & Features > Apps > Search for "Xbox" > Advanced Options > Repair. After that, sign out your account on the Xbox App then sign back in. Check if you can now install Xbox Game Pass games.
I'd like to know where the save files are stored for Xbox Game Pass files on Windows. I've tried searching for the 'Saved Games' folder in Documents, also checked the 'My games' folder and any other subfolders, alas to no avail. I did find some other folders/files under local\appdata\packages, but not the save files.
This problem just started 2-3 days ago. Before they I hadn't had any issues launching any games from the Xbox app on PC. I'll describe the issues with the two games I've tried the most (Payday 3 and Texas Chainsaw Massacre). The game will successfully launch the first time on a fresh install for Payday 3.
This is despite me having full access over the folder and its subcontents (otherwise microsoft doesnt allow you to even open them in the first place). It seems like regardless of being able to access the .exe, only the Xbox Game Pass (Beta) app allows it to be run. Did you check out the contents/permissions of the stuff on the E: as well?
Thanks for the clarification. Technically, there's no game sharing or subscription sharing on PC. The home Xbox feature where you can share your games and subscription only works on Xbox consoles. For PC, it may or may not work. If he has an Xbox Console Companion app on his PC, try to open it and check whose account is currently signed in.
Thanks for posting on the Xbox forums. We understand that you are interested in learning how to gift someone Xbox Game Pass for PC. It is not possible to gift a subscription. You can purchase a digital code for an Xbox Gift Card from the Microsoft Store website. The website allows you to adjust the amount of money that you want to put on the code.
