UvA Matching for international students is an introduction to the Bachelor’s programme to which you are applying. It helps you determine whether the Bachelor’s programme of your choice is the right fit for you.
All students live and study together on the AUC international campus in Amsterdam East. Exchange students can apply to study at AUC with one and a half years of academic experience, but they must have a high GPA and a strong motivation.
The Office of International Student Affairs (BIS) is the central international office of the UvA and is situated at the Roeterseiland Campus. The office provides support and oversight for various aspects of international student affairs.
All four entry requirements must be met on one single diploma, if needed with the aid of a supplementary test. When you do not meet the minimum required grades for mathematics and/or English on your final grade list, you will have to take a supplementary test to overcome these deficiencies.
In order to apply for the global exchange programme, you have to meet the entry requirements for participating in an exchange programme as outlined on the UvA World Map.
Dutch and EU/EEA students €5,460 per year; Non-EU/EEA students € 19,000 per year; Dutch student grants. Dutch students are eligible for monthly student grants from the Dutch government. In certain cases it is also possible for other EU students to receive this student grant from the Dutch government (i.e. DUO-IB Group).
