Gwendoline Christie said she hasn't felt beautiful on screen before 'Wednesday' r/WitchesVsPatriarchy The goal is to at once embrace, and poke fun at, the mystical aspects of femininity that have been previously demonized and/or devalued by the patriarchy.
For fans of the amazing and beautiful British actress and model, Gwendoline Christie. Popular roles include Brienne of Tarth from Game of Thrones, Captain Phasma from Star Wars, Titania from A Midsummer's Night Dream, and Lucifer from The Sandman. This subreddit is fairly new so we're a work in progress.
Gwendoline Christie is one of my biggest idols. She is so incredibly elegant, and it's wonderful to see representation of tall, nontraditionally attractive women on screen. I am happy to support women of all shapes and sizes, but it's so rare to see someone of her height, even more so because she isn't a rail thin model.

Neil Gaiman likes to play with his angels, both with looks and genders. I just think it’s interesting and playful that Tom Ellis’s dark haired, dark eyed, male Lucifer Morningstar disappeared on August 5th. Gwendoline Christie’s blond haired, blue eyed, female Lucifer Morningstar appeared on August 5th. Both are 6’3” tall. Hmmmmm
I adore Gwendoline Christie and wanted her to be Carol Danvers so fucking bad. The way she holds herself and everything is in point. I like how she can take a medium sized role and make it something grander; the moments she is with Sansa and Catelyn are examples.

[NO SPOILERS] Gwendoline Christie 'Brienne' & Matthias Schweighöfer, the lad from Army of Dead/Thieves are so much look alike..
I had a look at the rest of the show, and it's even better in that context. All the models are made up like dolls and clockwork models, and have a very artificial way of moving as if they're about to fall over at any moment. Then Gwendoline comes out and she's smoother and so much more majestic, it's fantastic.
