The story follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy, a boy whose body gained the properties of rubber after unintentionally eating a Devil Fruit. With his crew, named the Straw Hat Pirates, Luffy explores the Grand Line in search of the world's ultimate treasure known as the "One Piece" in order to become the next King of the Pirates.
The samurai head scares the children. The hazmat suit guys arrive and attempt to capture the Straw Hats. Meanwhile, in Luffy's group, Usopp makes a banana boat so they can cross the river to the frozen side of Punk Hazard. Then, the centaur whom Luffy beat earlier tells his boss that the Straw Hats are heading to the frozen side of Punk Hazard.
Zoro's loyalty to Luffy is incomparable among the crew and develops through the series. Even though he joined Luffy's crew, his main goal was to become the strongest swordsman. Originally Zoro threatened to kill Luffy if he ever got in the way of this goal. He listens to his captain's order and follows the order until the very end.
Luffy attempt to fight back using Armament Haki, but his punches go right though him, much to Luffy's confusion, as Trebol question Luffy's assumption of his Devil Fruit being a Logia. Law tells Luffy that fighting Trebol is futile, while revealing Trebol's slime is in fact mucus, before he begins to insult Trebol and the other executives.
