In 2015, the band released their debut album Eschatology of War through Archaic Sound. Three years later, their second album, The Blind Leading the Blind , was released. The album received positive reviews from the music press [ 3 ] [ 4 ] [ 5 ] and 1914 soon signed a contract with Napalm Records . [ 6 ]
Kanonenfieber is an anonymous German melodic blackened death metal band from Bamberg.Their lyrics are generally centered around World War I. 'Noise' formed Kanonenfieber after reading a diary from his great-grandfather, which was written at the frontlines during World War I.
The band has also recruited, and lost, three other female members: The Temptress, Heather Broome (1986); Amazina, Colette Miller (1986–87); and Gwar Woman, Lisa Harrelson (1987–88). The band's debut album, Hell-O, a crossover thrash metal-punk rock album, was released in 1988 under Shimmy Disc.

The band was founded in 1984 [3] by drummer/singer Paul "Evo" Evans, guitarist Gunner and bassist Falken. Evo had previously played drums in the punk bands Major Accident, The Blood and Angelic Upstarts, [4] and wanted to "blend metal and punk in a manner not done before". [3] In 1984, Warfare released two singles and an EP.
Revenge's chaotic black metal sound represents a direct continuation of Read's previous band's direction. Although sometimes referred to as war metal the band has never referred to themselves as war metal and has always called themselves black metal, chaotic black metal or black death metal. They have released six full-length albums to date.
