Us and Them is the second studio album by American rock band Shinedown, released on October 4, 2005, by Atlantic Records.Recorded in Jacksonville, Florida and Sanford, Florida, the album had three singles, two of which, "Save Me" and "I Dare You," were used as themes for WWE pay-per-view events No Mercy 2005 and WrestleMania 22 respectively.
Shinedown has found much of its success on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, as each of their 32 singles the format has reached the top five, with "Dance, Kid, Dance" becoming the most recent in February 2025. Of those 32 singles, nineteen of them have climbed to the number one spot, a chart record.
Shinedown has since released six more studio albums: Us and Them (2005), The Sound of Madness (2008), Amaryllis (2012), Threat to Survival (2015), Attention Attention (2018), and Planet Zero (2022). Shinedown is an American rock band from Jacksonville, Florida, formed by singer Brent Smith in 2001 after the dissolution of his previous band, Dreve. Smith, still under contract with record label Atlantic Records, recruited the band's original lineup of Jasin Todd as guitarist, Brad Stewart on bass, and Barry Kerch on drums.

Myers joined Shinedown as a touring rhythm guitarist in 2005, before becoming their temporary bassist after the departure of Brad Stewart in 2007. In early 2008, he assumed the role of permanent rhythm guitarist. On December 18, 2008 Nick Perri departed Shinedown, leaving Zach to assume the role of the band's rhythm and lead guitarist. [2]
