The OC Fair & Event Center (OCFEC) is a 150-acre (0.61 km 2) event venue in Costa Mesa, California. The site hosts over 150 events attracting 4.3 million visitors annually, and is home to the Orange County Fair , Centennial Farm, Costa Mesa Speedway , and Pacific Amphitheatre .
The event is held in February on the Riverside County Fairgrounds. The fair is located in Indio, California, a city in the Colorado Desert, approximately 130 miles (210 km) east of Los Angeles. The Coachella Valley has about 250,000 date palms planted on approximately 5,000 acres (20 km 2) which produces 35,000,000 pounds of dates annually. [3]
Numerous events and competitions have been held at the Pacifica Skatepark since its opening. Between 2005 and 2010, the park hosted three California Amateur Skate League contests and five Summer Series contests. [5] In 2011, the park hosted a Skate Like a Girl event. Group rentals. The rink is available for two-hour group rentals for up to 20 people. According to Utschig, the rink can be rented out for parties, organizational events, or even just a family fun day.
In July 2010, the park hosted the 6th annual Riverbed Cleanup and Environmental Awareness event, resulting in the removal of 1,500 pounds (680 kg) of debris, including trash and dirt, from nearby Whiting Ranch Wilderness Park and California State Route 241. Other participants included Home Depot and the Boy Scouts. [11]
