Find your application's "Email Accounts" or "Account Settings" section, select your AOL Mail account, then update to your new password. If you've activated 2-step verification for your AOL account, you'll need to generate and use an "app password" to access AOL Mail from these apps.
Remove and re-enter your AOL Mail password. (Note: If you use an app password for Outlook, you may need to create a new app password. See the info below.) Check the status. When creating an app password, use a browser that you've used to sign into AOL Mail for several days in a row and avoid using Incognito mode.
