Beddgelert (Welsh: [bɛðˈgɛlɛrt] ⓘ) is a village and community in the Snowdonia area of Gwynedd, Wales. The population of the community taken at the 2021 census was 460 (rounded to the nearest 10). [1] This includes Nantmor and Nant Gwynant.

The new station has a large curved island platform, allowing for two trains to pass each other. There are two small shelters for passenger use. A large water tower has been installed at the north west end of the platform.
Betws-y-coed railway station is on the Conwy Valley Line, which runs between Llandudno and Blaenau Ffestiniog. It is situated 15 + 1 ⁄ 2 miles (24.9 km) south of Llandudno Junction. The section of the line to Beddgelert passes Pitt's Head, at 650 ft the highest point on the route, and down at a gradient of 1 in 40 (2.5%) into the forest. The railway rapidly loses height through two S-bends, between which is the new Meillionen (= clover) Forest Camp Site Halt and below which is the new station at Beddgelert.
Nantmor is a railway halt in North Wales serving the nearby hamlet of the same name. It is located between the stations of Beddgelert and Pont Croesor on the recently restored Welsh Highland Railway.
