Incubation: Peafowl eggs have an average incubation time of 28-30 days (though many report hatches at 25-27 days instead). I spend time daily looking, and playing peacock sounds, hoping he will hear, if he’s around, to draw him in. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Dunedin, NZ. The squirt-with-the-hose thing will drive them away, but it doesn't seem to work in the longer term. I tried this when we first got Peggy and he was very sick with pneumonia, and some of the other bully peaboys kept chasing him and hounding him.
231. It sounds like with your climate you probably won't have to lock them in very often or for very long at a time so a three sided shed will probably work, facing it away from winter winds. 10 x 10 would be big enough to give them shelter and be easy to keep clean.
