Not getting advertised speed. I signed up for the 1200 mbps plan but I am not receiving anything close to that speed. My speed fluctuates from 200 mbps to around 400 mbps. I have tried all of the recommended tips for increasing speed and nothing works. I also tried to adjust the settings on my my Xfinity Gateway, but most options are grayed out.

I don't know what the advanced tech supported did in the backend, after several restarts and re-provisioning, the modem: CODA56 finally worked and got 300 mbps upload. To other users: as of 10/14/2024, Netgear CM2000 is on the supported list, but it's not on the "recommend" list, the download speed is good, but the upload speed is capped at 40 ...

I have an Internet only plan with Xfinity. I originally had 300 mbps plan but over the past 2 years was upgraded to 600 mbps (paid for this) then updated to 800 mbps and then 900 mbps for free. When I was updated to 600 mbps and ran SpeedTest I would get 600+ mbps all the time at the Ethernet ports.

  7. Expecting 300 mbps upload speed but only getting 20 mbps upload

    forums.xfinity.com/conversations/your-home-network/expecting-300-mbps-upload...

I just upgraded my plan as I was tired of having 20 mbps uploads, which I had assumed was due to having a plan with 35 mbps upload. So I upgraded to the 2 gigabit plan (which shows 2k mb down, 300 mb up). Now my download is killing it, speedtest.net shows it at a 2300+ mbps rating, but my upload is still stuck at/under 20.

Modem -> Router-> Switch -> Desktop. Up until about a month ago, I was seeing between 970Mbs and 1.0 Gb on the speed test. On WiFi (laptop) getting about 550 Mbs, probably due to back chanenl communication over the mesh system, etc. Very acceptable. About a month or two, ago, the speed test dropped to between 490Mbs and 510Mbs (on the wire) and ...

I've had the Performance Pro internet rated at 300Mbps for a few years now, using the Arris SB6190 modem and Google Mesh Wifi, it's always been very consistent at 300+ Mbps, the Google router tests speeds daily and I have a log that has the last 30 days being 330 to 350Mbps. However 4 days ago on Friday the speed suddenly dropped to below 100 ...

10 Mbps on a 300 Mbps plan. I have a Netgear CM1150V Modem with a Netgear RAX80 router. When connected directly to the modem, I get speeds over 300 Mbps but when I connect to the router, it gets ~10Mbps. All other devices get their proper speeds on the router. I checked out my Modem log and there are a few unlocked channels and what looks like ...

Internet speed suppose to be around 1000mbps but get 20mbps - 300mbps. I pay for 1000 mbps speed and get anywhere between 20-300 mbps with connected Ethernet cable. However my modem and the Xfintiy bot says that my cable connection is good. Was this helpful? user_56f688 thank you for taking the time to reach out today via Community Forums.
