The Wine Museum in Pleven. The Danubian Plain or North Bulgarian region encompasses the south banks of the Danube and the central and western parts of the Danubian Plain. The climate of the area is temperate continental, has a hot summer and many sunny days a year.
The Dimyat grape is almost exclusively grown in Bulgaria with vineyards mostly in the south and eastern parts of the country. [2] It is most widely planted in the Chirpan, Preslav and Shumen regions around the Black Sea. [5] Other Bulgarian wine regions growing some Dimyat include Haskovo and Varna. [6]
