The 2025 League of Legends World Championship is an upcoming esports tournament for the multiplayer online battle arena video game League of Legends, set to be held in China. It is the fifteenth iteration of the League of Legends World Championship , an annual international tournament organised by the game's developer, Riot Games .
As of 2025, there are 5 regional professional leagues for League of Legends around the world. For the First Stand Tournament after the first split of season, each region allocated 1 spot each, total 5 teams compete. For the Mid-Season Invitational after second split of season, each region allocated 2 spots each, total 10 teams compete.

The second split has the eight teams in each conference compete against their conference opponents in a double round-robin group stage, with all games being best-of-one. The top 6 teams per conference compete in a double-elimination best-of-five bracket, with the top two teams earning a bye to the winner's semi-finals.
