Larkspur is a city in Marin County, California, United States. Larkspur is located 3 miles (4.8 km) south of San Rafael , [ 7 ] at an elevation of 43 feet (13 m). [ 1 ] As of the 2020 census , the city's population was 13,064.

In 1980, the Larkspur City Council designated it to be a local historic district and rezoned it as an overlay H Zone. [2] The historic district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. [1] It was asserted that the district is significant because it still has the ambiance of a small California town in the 1900–1930 era. [2]
In the 2000s, Jeff King served on the board of the Los Angeles Convention and Visitors Bureau and was chairman of the California Restaurant Association. He died at age 77 on May 17, 2017. Sam King was one of the founders of the Sustainable Seafood Forum. As of 2007, he is chief executive and resides in Coto de Caza, California. [1]

[5] Corte Madera Creek is formed by the confluence of San Anselmo Creek [6] and Ross Creek [7] in Ross and entering a tidal marsh at Kentfield before connecting to San Francisco Bay near Corte Madera.
