    There is no such a cartridge as 6.5x55mm. There are several cartridges of this dimension, but NONE of that name. A survey of the internet (2 goggle search pages) showed that 88% of references were about the 6.5×55mm Swedish Mauser cartridge with a few using 6.5×55mm Swede, and a similar number 6.5×55mm Swedish.
