We have what are called Forest Protection Officers, which are not Law Enforcement and they usually work for the forest in another job field such as fire, recreation or range..They do issue violation notices though.
12-08-2012, 04:48 AM. Here's the basics of what you are looking for. 1801 is general inspection, investigation, enforcement. 1811 is criminal investigation. An 1801 would be basic law enforcement investigation for minor crimes to felony crimes. 1811 would be more indepth investigation.

I'll start out with why and what I am asking. I am currently a local LE officer in Arizona that can retire in a few years.
San Jose PD has their own retirement system but officers pay 21% into it. Also their Workers Comp is still messed up. San Mateo County SO is non-PERS. Under the 2012 pension reform (known as PEPRA = google the term - lots written on it) the '37 act counties were included as well with the 2.7@57 formula cap.
