Re: Getting a Grizzly to Canada I ordered a G0691 from Grizzly this summer and got like 5 days later delivered to Orillia. It was cheaper to get it delivered from Grizzly than Busybee. I asked BB to pay by CC and have a friend pick it up (he was working near Concord and Barrie was closed) and they refused.

Jun 12, 2014. #9. I have grizzly machines from the late 90's, so maybe their paint has changed, but I get a perfect match on my tools by blending aluminum paint with Hunter Green, a standard dark-green shade by RustOleum and others. My lathe needs a touch of yellow to make it perfect but the mill, bandsaw and surface grinder match up fine with ...

10-26-2015, 08:08 PM. I'm in the market for a new 20" planer and I have been reading by different sources that all the referenced machines, and quite a few others, are all manufactured by Geetech in China. Can anyone verify that? A Powermatic 20" HH planer is $4290 but the Grizzly variation is $3095 and they look almost identical.

I have had a bad experience with the Grizzly H8183 set; mismarked, crooked, and brittle drills though. For boring, I have used boring tool sets intended for boring heads. One of the tool holders will accommodate 1/2" shank boring tools. As mentioned above, dial or test indicators, calipers, and micrometers are almost required for working on the ...

We have had discussions on this before dealing with bandsaws. Grizzly and a well known Canadian company had bandsaws that looked exactly the same and both were advertised a IIRC 2 hp. when you looked at the amp draw the Canadian saw was actually 1 1/2 hp while Grizzly was actually 2 hp.
