SMH Group Stadium is an all-seater football stadium in Whittington Moor, Chesterfield, Derbyshire, on the site of the former Dema Glassworks. [1] It is the home of Chesterfield F.C., replacing the Saltergate Recreation Ground as the club's stadium from the start of the 2010–11 season.
The 2016–17 season was Chesterfield's 150th season in their history and their third consecutive season in League One. [3] Along with League One, the club participated in the FA Cup, League Cup and EFL Trophy. The season covered the period from 1 July 2016 to 30 June 2017.
