"Using detailed numerical simulations, and analytical theory, we study properties of micro-cavities which incorporate materials that exhibit Electro-magnetically Induced Transparency (EIT) or Ultra Slow Light (USL). We find that such systems, while being miniature in size (order wavelength), and integrable, can have some outstanding properties.
Hòa Hảo is a new religious movement [1] and it was named after the founder Huỳnh Phú Sổ's native village of Hoa Hao [1] (Hòa Hảo; [2] Vietnamese: [hwaː˨˩ haːw˧˩] ⓘ; chữ Hán: 和好; literally "peace and amicability"), [15] in what is now Thốt Nốt District of An Giang Province, Vietnam. [16] The name is also spelled as ...
[195] [191] By the 1990s, the commercial role and influence of Hoa in Vietnam's economy have rebounded substantially since the introduction of Doi Moi as the Vietnamese government's post-1988 shift to a capitalist-based free-market liberalization has led to an astounding resurgence of Chinese economic dominance across the country's urban areas.
[citation needed] Furthermore, the refractive index of the waveguide material, the ring resonator material and the medium material in between the waveguide and the ring resonator also affect the optical coupling. The medium material is usually the most important feature under study since it has a great effect on the transmission of the light wave.
The study of dual resonance models was a relatively popular subject of study between 1968 and 1973. [5] It was even taught briefly as a graduate level course at MIT, by Sergio Fubini and Veneziano, who co-authored an early article. [ 6 ]
The Joint Entrance Examination – Advanced (JEE-Advanced) (formerly the Indian Institute of Technology – Joint Entrance Examination (IIT-JEE)) is an academic examination held annually in India that tests the skills and knowledge of the applicants in physics, chemistry and mathematics.
A crystal oscillator is an electronic oscillator circuit that uses a piezoelectric crystal as a frequency-selective element. [1] [2] [3] The oscillator frequency is often used to keep track of time, as in quartz wristwatches, to provide a stable clock signal for digital integrated circuits, and to stabilize frequencies for radio transmitters and receivers.
The impulse excitation technique (IET) is a non-destructive material characterization technique to determine the elastic properties and internal friction of a material of interest. [1] It measures the resonant frequencies in order to calculate the Young's modulus , shear modulus , Poisson's ratio and internal friction of predefined shapes like ...
