Bernard's Ferry is a historic site located on the Snake River north of Murphy off State Highway 78 in Owyhee County, Idaho. J.C. Bernard began operating a ferry at the site in 1884. The site was used as a river crossing until 1869 when Gus Glenn built a ferry across the river about 2 miles (3.2 km) upstream. [1] The land was deeded from the city of Glenns Ferry to the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation in 1968 and was formally opened to the public as a state park in 1971.

Cooper's Ferry Archaeological Site. The most recent work at the Coopers Ferry site was a joint effort of Oregon State University and the Bureau of Land Management and led by Loren G. Davis.
