We drove up to Tahoe from SoCal couple of weeks ago and when we stopped to use the Supercharger (Tesla), we noticed that there was the Rivian RAN L3 chargers at Innyokern. It's located at the same parking lot as the Tesla chargers. I believe there were 5 or 6 stations.

Charging infrastructure is sometimes unreliable, occupied, broken or offline because of software/network issues. My last long distance trip back from Montreal was almost derailed in New Hampshire - apparently every EV in the state tries to charge on Sundays. I learned there is a Rivian AN site in Lebanon but it’s not open yet.

The nearest Tesla charger to me that is configured for Rivian is 10 miles away. The nearest Rivian network charger is 35 miles away. The town I live in has many Level 1 (and a few level 2) charging stations, but charging will entail leaving my vehicle overnight in a municipal parking lot at least a mile from my condo.
You can buy a dryer cord and flush mount 50 amp range receptacle at Home Depot or Lowes. When using the 50 amp RV cord or plugging into a friend's stove receptacle, you can use the full 32 amps. If a dryer cord adapter, then set it for a max of 24 amps. 80% of the full load rating of the receptacle.
