Zephyrhills is a city in Pasco County, Florida, United States. The population was counted at 17,194 in the 2020 census. [ 5 ] The city is the headquarters of the Zephyrhills bottled water company.

Besides the gap between SR 56 and SR 581 in Wesley Chapel, County Road 54 is a county extension of SR 54 south of Dade City. It begins at County Road 579 (Morris Bridge Road) west of downtown Zephyrhills and runs north in a short overlap with that road until it curves east, and runs east along Eiland Boulevard, while CR 579 continues north along Handcart Road.

It is bounded by South Avenue, 9th Avenue, 7th Street and 11th Street, and contains 126 contributing buildings on 84 acres (34 ha). On September 27, 2001, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

When SR 41 branches off to the northwest and becomes CR 41, SR 39 becomes the sole hidden route for US 301 until the southern terminus of the US 98 ( SRs 35 - 700 ) multiplex in Clinton Heights, south of Dade City.
