The first season of House premiered November 16, 2004, [1] and ended May 24, 2005. [1] The season follows Dr. Gregory House and his team as they solve a medical case each episode. The season's sub-plot revolves around billionaire Edward Vogler making a $100 million donation to the hospital. [2]
The fifth season of House, also known as House, M.D., premiered September 16, 2008 [1] and ended May 11, 2009. [1] It began to air in a new time slot from September to December: Tuesday 8:00 pm. [ 2 ] Starting January 19, 2009, House moved to Mondays at 8:00 pm.
House also begins injecting himself with an experimental drug reported to regrow muscle in rats. The team treats a scientist, Dr. Lee ( Linda Park ) for seizures and symptoms of radiation poisoning. They discover that Dr. Lee's boyfriend, Ceaser, has been poisoning her with Spanish Fly , which causes symptoms similar to radiation poisoning.
